Florida
You can appear put-together and still feel anxious, disconnected, or like you are never enough.
I support high-achieving women across Florida in healing body image struggles, disordered eating patterns, perfectionism, anxiety, burnout and life transitions. We meet online, from Naples to Palm Beach to Key Biscayne.
Serving Clients In
This may sound familiar
From the outside you are handling everything. Inside, it feels like you are barely holding on.
Food and your body take up far more of your thoughts than you want them to.
In a place where it is summer all year, your body rarely gets a season out of view.
You moved here for a fresh start, and you did not expect to feel this unmoored.
Your community is small and close, and privacy matters to you.
You are exhausted in a way that rest does not fix.
You do not need to be in crisis to deserve support. If this sounds like you, that is reason enough to reach out.
Your therapy can come with you
Many of the women I work with in Florida live between two addresses, south for the winter and north when the heat arrives. Therapy often stops right when the change is hardest, and starting over with someone new each year means never getting past the beginning.
Because we meet online, nothing has to be handed over or explained twice. You keep the same therapist and the same weekly hour. Only the time zone changes.
When you arrive
Settling back in, finding your footing, stepping into a calendar that fills quickly.
Through the season
The same hour each week, held for you, whatever else is going on.
When you head north
No goodbye and no starting over. We simply adjust the time.
Wherever you are that week
Sessions follow the state you are physically in, so we can plan travel together in advance.
How I work
My work blends nervous system regulation, somatic and trauma-informed approaches, and identity-level rewiring to create deep, lasting change.
So much of what you are carrying is not only in your thoughts. It lives in your body and your nervous system, which is why understanding a pattern is so often not enough to change it. We work with both, building awareness around your thoughts, sensations, behaviors and beliefs.
I will never ask you to go somewhere you are not ready to go. We move at your pace.
Where my Florida clients are
All sessions are online, so you can meet from wherever you feel most comfortable, with the door closed and nowhere to drive afterwards.
Southeast Florida
Miami-Dade and Broward, where the pace is quick and the week fills up before you notice.
Palm Beach and the Treasure Coast
Quieter and more seasonal, where privacy matters and many women divide the year between two homes.
The Gulf Coast
The west side, slower and highly seasonal, where having something steady each week matters.
I also work with women anywhere else in Florida, including Tampa, Sarasota, Orlando and Jacksonville.
How sessions work
Eastern Time, mornings and early afternoons
I practice from California, three hours behind you, so those tend to be the easiest hours for my Florida clients to protect.
Nothing to download
I send a private link that opens in your browser. A quiet room and headphones if you have them, and you are set.
Fully registered in Florida
Florida asks out-of-state therapists to register with the state before working with residents. I have done that, and it is public record.
Everything stays between us
Sessions are confidential. Nothing you bring here is discussed anywhere else, and you decide entirely what, if anything, you share with the people around you.
If you would like to check my credentials first, please do. The Florida Department of Health keeps a public register of providers approved to offer telehealth in the state.
Questions you may have
Can a therapist based in California work with me in Florida?
Yes. Florida allows qualified out-of-state therapists to provide telehealth to residents once they have registered with the state, and I have. The register is public, so you are welcome to look it up.
I spend part of the year in another state
That is true of many of my clients. What matters is the state you are physically in on the day of a session. I can work with you in Florida, California, South Carolina and Utah, so for most women the year continues without a break. If your other home is somewhere else, tell me on our first call and I will be straightforward about what is possible.
What if a storm takes out my power?
We simply move the session, and there is nothing for you to worry about on your side. We can switch to a phone call if that is easier. And if storm season itself is adding to your anxiety, that is welcome in our work rather than something to get through alone.
Does therapy really work over video?
It does. Research over the past two decades has found telehealth as effective as in-person work for anxiety, trauma, and body image and eating concerns. Many of my clients tell me they found it easier to be honest from their own space.
I do not know where to start
You do not need to. There is nothing to prepare and no tidy version of your story required. Start with whatever is on your mind and we will find the thread together.
Let us start with a conversation
I offer a complimentary consultation call. No pressure and no commitment, just a chance to talk through what has been going on and see how I can help.
