Heal Your Relationship with Food, Your Body, and Yourself

You’re not broken. You’re responding to pressure, expectations, and experiences that taught you to disconnect from your body instead of trusting it.

I work with women who are tired of:

  • Constantly thinking about food, weight, or their body

  • Feeling disconnected from hunger, fullness, or self-trust

  • Carrying emotional exhaustion from autoimmune or chronic health conditions

  • Over-giving in relationships while feeling unseen or depleted
Holding it all together on the outside while struggling quietly on the inside

This is therapy for women who want relief, clarity, and a gentler way forward without shame, diets, or self-blame.

A Space Where Women Can Finally Exhale

Healing happens when you feel safe enough to tell the truth about what you’re experiencing.

My work supports women who are:

  • Struggling with disordered eating or eating disorders

  • Experiencing body image distress shaped by societal and relational pressures

  • Navigating the emotional toll of autoimmune conditions and chronic illness

  • Repeating painful relationship patterns or feeling disconnected from their needs

  • Ready to reconnect with their bodies instead of controlling them

Together, we focus on restoring trust, strengthening emotional resilience, and helping you feel more at home in your body and your life.

You Don’t Have to Do This Alone Anymore

You deserve support that understands the complexity of being a woman in a body that has been judged, medicalized, or misunderstood.

Ilona Varo, LMFT + Mastery Coach on Women’s Health

I offer compassionate support and evidence-based guidance for those navigating the complex terrain of disordered eating, women's health, and concerns surrounding body image. As a dedicated psychotherapist with a deep understanding of these issues, I provide a safe and nurturing space for women to explore their relationship with food, their bodies, and their overall well-being.

Disordered Eating Support

Disordered eating patterns can manifest in various forms, ranging from restrictive dieting to binge eating and everything in between. I recognize the unique challenges individuals face when grappling with these issues and offer personalized strategies to foster a healthier relationship with food and body image. Together, we'll explore underlying factors contributing to disordered eating behaviors and work towards sustainable solutions that promote physical and emotional wellness.

Women's Health Focus

Women's health is a central focus of my practice, as I believe in the importance of addressing the unique experiences and challenges that women encounter throughout their lives. From adolescence through adulthood, women may contend with a myriad of issues, including hormonal fluctuations, reproductive health concerns, and societal pressures regarding appearance and worth. I provide comprehensive support tailored to the specific needs of women, empowering them to prioritize self-care, set boundaries, and cultivate resilience in the face of life's demands.

Body Image Concerns

Concerns surrounding body image can significantly impact one's sense of self-worth and overall quality of life. Whether grappling with negative self-talk, comparison traps, or body dysmorphia, I offer a compassionate and non-judgmental space for individuals to explore their body image concerns. Through therapeutic interventions rooted in self-compassion and mindfulness, clients can begin to challenge unhelpful beliefs, embrace their bodies with greater acceptance, and cultivate a more positive relationship with themselves.
