Just DO IT

Doing the work isn't always fun. Yet it is necessary!⁠

Don't let "not feeling like it" derail you or get too loud in your head.⁠

There are a ton of things that I don't feel like doing, yet, I love results, so I do them anyways. ⁠

Some tips to help you take action and do the things you don't really want to do!⁠

THOUGHT STOPPING: ⁠
Don't let the voice of "I don't want to" or "I don't feel like it" get in the way. ⁠
Literally tell your self "STOP, I will not allow this thought right now ... this is not helping me right now." ⁠

REMINDERS:⁠
Remind yourself that this is a HABIT that you are either trying to break or develop.⁠
Remind yourself WHY you value what you are resisting and why it would be WORTH it.⁠

RESOURCING:⁠
CONNECT with yourself and see if you can tune into the voice of ENCOURAGEMENT, support and reason. ⁠
TALK to yourself (either internally or out loud) and use WORDS, phrases, singing, and energy to build up momentum. Say the words "Yes, I can, Yes, I will." ⁠

ACTION:⁠
Small action steps can BUILD and lead to big change. Don't get discouraged if you can't make leaps and bounds, start somewhere. ⁠Start anywhere!

If you want change to happen, you have to be willing to change something in your current status quo.⁠

You have to be WILLING to STOP, TAKE INVENTORY, and be MINDFUL of what is currently happening. Only from true awareness can we create actionable change. ⁠
